Privacy Policy
Plain Words. No Tricks.
This is the part where most sites bury you in legalese. We're going to keep it loud and legible. Here's what we collect, what we don't, and what we do with any of it. Effective and last updated: May 18, 2026.
What We Collect
Standard server logs (IP, browser, the page you landed on), basic analytics events to
figure out which reviews actually help, and anything you voluntarily type into a contact
form. That's the list. Specifically: pageviews and referrer via Google Analytics; IP and user-agent in server logs (rotated out within 30 days); and the email address plus message body of anything you send to [email protected].
Cookies & Tracking
We use cookies for analytics and to remember your preferences. Affiliate links may set a
third-party cookie so the merchant can credit us when you buy. You can nuke all of them
from your browser settings any time you want. The categories: analytics cookies set by Google Analytics (_ga, _ga_*), a single first-party cookie that remembers you accepted this banner (cookies-accepted), and the occasional affiliate-attribution cookie set by the merchant you click through to.
What We Don't Do
We don't sell your data. We don't rent it. We don't pile it into shadowy ad-tech graphs. If we ever need to share something with a service provider (analytics, email), they're contractually pinned to using it only for that job. Right now the short list of processors is: Google (Analytics + hosting infrastructure) and our DNS/CDN provider. That's it.
Your Rights
You can ask us what we have on you, ask us to delete it, or ask us to stop using it for
a specific purpose. Email [email protected] with the request and we'll
handle it within a reasonable window. If you're in the EU/UK under GDPR you have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port your data, plus to object to processing and complain to your supervisory authority. If you're in California under CCPA/CPRA you have rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" — and we don't do either, so opt-out is a one-line reply.
Questions, complaints, or weird edge cases? Find our contact details on the about page, or email us directly. We update this policy when something material changes — check the date at the top. Material changes get a banner on the homepage for at least 30 days so you can't miss them.
